Vox Valvetronic series(chrome grill)

Ive worked on a few of these over the years , comes in a range of power outputs . Extremely weak input jack ,almost always gives trouble when it breaks away from the solder points on the sub assembly . Scraping back of the solder resist around  the jack grounding  pin and re-soldering  fixes it, although many online replace it with the same weak part .  Ive found the bigger powered of this series of amps (VT-120)have a tendency to become damaged when the larger output heat sink pulls the main power amp chip away from the board if it gets bumped around , so thats best avoided.  Vt-15 and Vt-30 are only good as a practice amp in my view.
