I just got hold of a CS60 that was missing it's KAS and SH boards so i thought i might transplant the ones from my CS50 into them to finally have a CS60. However the original spec called for the RCA CA3140T - the op amps on my KAS board are Toshiba TA7505M. I can get either on the secondary market. However I'm wondering if there's a difference in the envelopes between these two (seems possible - even likely) since most op amps have slightly different characteristics. I was wondering whether anyone here was hip to what the differences might be? I've googled and can find NOTHING on this.

alternately there's also a modern DIP8 implementation of the chip and i'm a bit curious about that as well. It certainly wouldn't hurt things from a reliability standpoint to use something new ...
