I've picked up a couple of 3 gang potentiometers and was wondering what kind of circuits they'd be useful for. I've never seen much of a need for them, possible some kind of filter? They are Colvern CLR.3038/15 200ohm wire wound. I couldn't find any info about them online so I don't know if they have any odd tapers. On the end it says '200ohm X 3NI'.

Any wirewound pots Ive ever looked at were linear ,if there was to be such a thing as log wirewound the diameter of the resistance wire would need to change  gradually from start to end .
One use I've made of W/W pots is as a variable cathode resistance in a small single ended power amp , but a three gang is no use there .
