Simple solution to this problem: don't use buttons! I have F-shortcuts for pretty much everything, commands, layers, grids. A couple less used commands are CTRL+letter. I can go days of working in Eagle without clicking a single menu or toolbar item. This speeds up your work by orders of magnitude.Jarno said:Yes, the labels on the buttons are quirky, and more so with every new release
Did not know about this one, actually I use almost no ULPs at all. What I do in this situation is make all layers but the unrouted invisible. One ULP I do like to use when building is highlighting all components of the same value. As for a tip, I like the "zoom-unrouted" ULP a lot, sometimes I have a tiny airwire I cannot find, this ULP helps with that. Tried the "dxfimport" ULP but did not have a whole lot of luck with it (maybe the thing I wanted to import was a bit too complex, I do not remember).
