Hi all,

My work and family life have been super busy for a few years now and my bench sits unused. and I have lots of gear I need to let go of.  My wife and I are adopting our third daughter at the moment so the beautiful chaos continues...

A few ground rules

- Please ask your questions here so everyone can benefit!

- I'll ship anywhere unless noted otherwise but it's at your risk.  If your package takes 2 months to get to Tajikistan or doesn't arrive it's on you (have had some issues in the past!).  I prefer to insure all packages where possible.

- I can't tell you how much shipping will be for specific items to specific locations, it just takes too much time.  I'll use USPS small and Fedex for anything large or high value.

Shipping from Pasadena, Los Angeles 91107

https://postcalc.usps.com
https://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home

- Claim your items here, I'm listing everything below going rates so expect things to go fast.

- Payment via Paypal, I'll eat the fees.  Shipping at cost.

Focusrite Rednet D16 - Dante to AES 16io - $995

https://pro.focusrite.com/category/legacy-products/item/rednet-d16-aes

Does exactly what it says on the tine.  Purchased directly from Focusrite and used for 18 months in my mastering room with air conditioned machine room.  Excellent condition.

Going rate on reverb is $1200 for clean used units.

Acopian 24V DC (23 Amp!) Power supply - U24Y2300 - ideal for Neve console / racking project - $50 $35

This is a heavy beast so I think only local pickup makes sense.

Edit - couldn't help myself.  Straightened the bent panels.  Supply has happily been cooking my 120 W power resistor for 10 mins.  Hum did not go down.  I'm seeing about 200 mV AC on the output which is higher than I would have expected.

Still a current product on the Acopian page - https://www.acopian.com/store/productdetail.aspx?q=i1533

Priced at $495!

Chassis clean but some panels are dented, easily fixed.

Physically Hums when plugged in but happily outputs 27 VDC. I loaded it with a 6 ohm power resistor and hum level went up but it was stable.  Too noisy for a control room as is.

Selling as is, if I go to the bother of cleaning up and testing more comprehensively I'll be selling for more on eBay.

$50 $35

Tektronix AFG3102 Dual Channel Arbitrary / Function Generator - 1GS/s 100 MHz - $1,100

Ok, this one is for serious geeks only.  The current version of this generator, the AFG3102C  lists just under $7k new.

This is serious high end generator, not necessary for the typical audio work we do, and not low distortion by Audio Precision standards.

I bought it from a radar engineer.  Amazing user interface.

Sold units on eBay go anywhere from $1200 to $3k.  Unit is clean, works great.

Benchmark DAC2 D - DA Converter - $895

I've compared this DAC to almost everything on the market in the mastering room and at other studios, from Burl to Prism, Antelope to UA, Mytek etc etc.  And until very recently nothing could beat it for feeding the analog chain.

Selling only because we've upgraded to the Benchmark DAC3, a modest but worthwhile improvement in the game of millimeters we play.

All details on this model here - https://benchmarkmedia.com/products/benchmark-dac2-d-digital-to-analog-audio-converter

This unit features a brand new front panel, fitted 10 mins before this picture!  The last one got scratched while I was doing some work for Dr. Dre but that's another story :). Top panel has some scratches, would rate the unit at 8/10 cosmetically over all. I don't have the remote.

Going rate on eBay and Reverb sees to be $1,100 to $1,150.

DPA 4061 / 4561 Mic - Brand New - Necklace format with DAD6001 Microdot to XLR Male  - $395 $375

This is an unusual one.  Brand new, never used, I purchased for a Podcast project that didn't happen.

The mic is the industry standard 4061 Omni capsule with a necklace style quick release system,  Includes the microdot to XLR barrel.

I purchased via a friend at DPA and still paid over $600, list is closer to $800.
