mxl / schoeps circuit: how bad if I remove these two caps?

Dear fellas!

Does anyone see any major problems in removing these two caps?

I understand they are there to stabilize the bipolar transistors, but the mic works ok with those removed, so my question: why bother?
 
Probably just a high frequency roll off? Alright, I won't replace them for now...

I don't think that's it. I'm pretty sure the Schoeps circuit doesn't usually have roll off which is why the Non-U87 circuit MXLs are so bright (same for the majority of the Studio Projects mics, and the Behringer ones too).
