I decided to have a go at making my own .
I had bought the ceramic pulleys on ebay ages back ,
25mm felt polishing pads are cheap ( like used with a dremel or rotary tool ) , added to a thread tensioner assembly from a sewing machine it makes a very neat adjustable tension for finer magnet wire .
I used standard straight and right angled metal brackets and a slat of engineered bamboo ,that all bolted on easily to a plastic food container with the ceramic eyelet . Whole thing cost around 10 euros in parts ,it gives a nice even payout tension to the wire .
