I plan to build a discete summing amp for a friends Auditronics 501 using John Hardy 990's or Forssells, ect.
My question is: The master module or QSM module as Auditronics calls it, has the usual quad inputs Front Left, Right , Rear Left, Right. However this console has a "Buss A and Buss B" on each quad input, at the master module with a 5534 on each summed into another 5534 before it hits the master fader. What's the reason for Buss A and B on each quad input? Is the console split..maybe 16 channels on buss A and 16 on B? I'm not sure how many I/o's this console has.
If anyone knows, I would appreciate it.
