So i got these mic input transformers .
without starting from scratch and making my own design ,
though i´m sure i´d be learning a lot , but time nowadays isn´t what it used to be some years back  ,
what to build with these  ?

With tube and JFET inputs it´s usually desirable to have a step up ratio as big
as possible for optimum noise, problem is the frequency response often suffers,
so 1:10 is the usual compromise. If freq resp of your xfrmr is ok, that would be the place to use these...
Like e.g. OPA2134 input, Hamptone input, ruffrecord´s Classic Tube Pre...

...or NYDave's MILA and One Bottle Tube Pre if this is really a mic to grid  transformer. (brand?)

If not, this could be a good iron for a reamping box.

i‘ll give it a sweep .
it‘s a sennheiser .

i really could use a reamping box ( though a tube pre is  never a bad choice ) .

MC was a thought , too
bur i‘m quite happy with my MD systems so far and couldn‘t really afford an expensive pickup right now .
