Hi Folks,

I recently picked up Acustica's Ebony reverb bundle (plug-in software) which includes the "111/411" EQs. These are purported to be EMT console EQs. I've done some searching online and haven't been able to find much info about these units. I did come across a forum post which said that they were made by ABE and distributed by EMT.

Does anyone have any info about these units? Schematics?

Cheers,

Chris

Hey

Thanks for that Jakob

I read once that this EMT desk series was a copy of the studer x69 series

I never see before the shemo you show here, there is definitely filiation...

input module EQ is 100% the 169 EQ
the master module share exact same topology, even how the schemo is draw, limiter is the same circuit too

Hi,

Somebody posted a cleaner copy of A111 schematics here:

The EQ in A411 is exactly the same.

Although quite conventional circuit-wise, those EQ's do sound nice. I have 64 of them in my EMT ABE MM400 mixer.

They seem 'limited' parameter-wise, still they do the job very well if the source audio is of good quality.
