Hi! I built a U87 clone into the body of my old ADK A51 microphone a few years ago. I saved the capsule, transformer and pcbs from the ADK mic and would now like rebuild it into another chassis. Problem is that  I have forgotten how to wire the transformer and xlr connector. Can someone please help to figure it out?

I think this microphone is pretty much the same as several low budget condensor mics also branded MXL, Generis, Tbone, TSM aso..

I've attached two pics of the parts.

Thanks!

Well, at least regarding the transformer, you can ohm out the two windings; the higher-resistance winding goes to the circuit, and the lower-resistance one goes to the output.

You might need to reverse the output (or XLR) wires, depending how the phase goes.

PS: That's a positively tiny photo - last time i checked, this was the year 2020  ???
