Philips MKT caps - UK cheapo supplier

Went to the old style radio part shop in Lincoln (John Birkett - we have "topiced" this before) at the weekend.

Bought a sine/square wave generator - and bought some packs of capacitors

Orange Philips MKT caps.. - about a hundred (at least) for a £1 in different values

May or may not be a bargain - but give it a year and this shop will be gone forever...

There is a web site but you can only buy stuff mail order or by visiting the shop or any radio fairs John goes to

Is there a difference between MKT and MKS? Both are polyester, right?

Good question indeed. That 'S' will already indicate the polyeSter I reason, but the 'T' I can't explain...
