I tried to search as thoroughly as I could before posting this, but the wealth of info here is a bit overwhelming... hopefully I didn't miss something!

Several months ago I discovered this slice of DIY audio culture, and jumped head first into sourcing parts for 1176 revision J design (this one: http://mnats.net/1176_bom.html). A bit hastily, actually, because shortly afterwards my situation changed such that keeping around anything strong enough to etch copper became a safety hazard. So, now I'm a bit stuck...

I had hoped that it would be possible to order a board from a fab house, but I couldn't find gerber files or boards for sale anywhere. Does anyone know if it's possible for me to obtain them? Or where to buy a board (already checked hairball)? I would really like to avoid replicating the layout from the checkplot! Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

of course, right after posting this I was able to answer my own question...

Hairball does in fact sell this board, just not in the place I was looking: https://www.hairballaudio.com/catalog/parts-store/old-style-fetrack/mnats-rev-j-fet-compressor

In case you are still wanting to etch without the use of chemicals maybe look into salt water etching.
