Yes, Panasonic makes really nice caps, Wima too, in fact any commercial brand should be ok.
 
If you are chasing a vintage thing, many believe polyester gets you closer, among new cap choices.  Preferred by many in Pultec clones.

I never understood the fascination with Pultecs, and I used to own a couple of them, not clones, originals. Pretty much prefer a GML eq.

Different tools do different things.

80% of the time in mixing I don't need or want a parametric EQ
