Hey guys,
I had this sitting around for a while now. I opened it up and had a look. It seems to be a simple circut. I did some research and I was thinking of replaceing the JRC 2068DD  with a OPA2228. Maybe even OPA21354. Was thinking of also replacing those eletro caps. I'm not expecting this to be the next Neve or API pre. I just figured this would be a cool project to take and learn at the same time.  Would love to hear your thoughts, ideas, suggestions.
Thanks!

Aaaaand what exactly are you hoping to achieve out of this exercise? (Perhaps apart from soldering / desoldering practice...)
Khron's Cave - Electronics - Audio - Teardowns - Mods - Repairs - Projects - Music - Rants - Shenanigans

Hey Khron,
Well I was hoping with some advice and guidance as to what would be best to replace. I would like it to sound good enough that I would want to use it in the studio.  As you folks with experience would be able to see what I can't.
Thanks
