Hi Guys,

I'm just curious if any of you bought low signal relays from Ebay or Aliexpress in the past? The prices are extremely low...

What are the chances of fake counterfeit parts when it comes to relays?

Thanks

The chances of them not having the correct precious metal contacts with the correct wiping action is probably very high. So they may appear to work at first but will probably not perform well for long.

Cheers

Thanks Ian

It's not worth the risk to save 2-3$ a piece  ;)

No free (margin erasing) lunch.  Of course there's a small chance they fell off a truck, but this is such a critical component, it pays to pay.

Mouser has TQ2-12V's, 100@$2.54 which isn't terrible.

Yes, I found TQ2-24V at 2.20$ CAD for 100.

TME and reichekt has takamisawa/fujitsu (JP) at less than 1$ in quantities.

Wow! they are liquidating the Fujitsu A series at 1.29$ USD for 100. Great price
I never dealt with TME before... It's not clear on the website if they ship to Canada.
