Anyone has the pinout for a Trident 24 power supply.
I believe it's a rectangle shaped connector.
I want to help a friend remotely, +18-18 went to heaven. Fuses are fine.

OK, have the supply here in front of me . M2501's measures fine.
I have +27 and - 27 after the caps. unfortunately I know nothing about the sense pcb which by the way is nearly falling apart and heavily burnt in here and there.
Any idea where to start looking ? schematic of the 65 is pretty much identical.

check caps and diodes. Check the link with the SENSE and check resistors.

This supply design looks similar to others I have seen, easy to have a failed cap cause all kinds of problems.

Hi guys,

I recently bought a Trident 65. We have recapped it and it works great.
It looks like it has been modded with the ground copper bar. I also found more than 10 balanced card drivers in the back of the console, these cards each have about 10 Op amps in them. This let me to believe that the power supply ( Original Trident power supply) has also been modded to facilitate all the extra op amps that didn't come with the console originally.
I'm trying to verify this so any information will be most helpful. I would like to replace all the op amps in the console. Obviously I cant do this if the power supply cant provide for it.

Here is some pictures of the inside of the power supply. I will take more pictures as soon as I get a chance.

Cheers,

The manual shows +18 on P1,4 sense on P1,5
-18 on P2, 5 sens P2,6
Most of these power supplies have been replaced with more powerful ones long ago, like so many other mid-range British consoles they are under-powered.
Another worthwhile mod on these is to fuse the input modules, when TL071s go they tend to burn up and take out motherboard traces...
