AKG C414 differences

Does anyone know the details of the differences with the AKG C414 line? From the bits and pieces I can find on the net, the main difference came with the introduction of the XLII, which featured a transformerless output and modified CK12 capsule. So does this seem right?

C414 comb - transformer, standard CK12 (brass?)
C414 EB - transformer, standard CK12 (brass?)
C414 EB P48 - transformer, standard CK12 (brass?)
C414 ULS - transformer, standard CK12
C414 XLII - transformerless, modified CK12 (2-5K boost for vox)
C414 B-XLS - transformerless, standard CK12
C414 B-XLII -transformerless, modified CK12 (2-5K boost for vox)

It seems like they use the modified CK12 in the C12-VR. Would it be accurate to say that the CK12 from a ULS model will sound closer to an original CK12 than one from an XLII? I own both ULS and XLII and do favor the XLII for vocals.

C414EB could have either a brass or 'teflon' CK12 capsule, but it was the normal one (2072Z0005). C414BULS had the same capsule, the C414BTL had the modified one. I don't know if the EB P48 had the teflon capsule.
