I ordered a Sowter 1449 four months ago for a project, and I just received it. I didn't want to wait that long, so I found another input transformer for that project. So now I have this bad boy burning a whole in my pocket. Would there be any value in adding this as an input transformer to my TripTop/B15 clone, or would that just be a waste of a good transformer?
If it sounds like a good idea, what would I have to do to the circuit to add this? I assume it would throw the impedance off, and would require some resistors?
