The Blue bottle mic is supposed to be able to handle swapping capsules while the mic is powered. Would it be the same for a RFT 7151? i always power off the mic but i guess it might not be good for the tubes.

Neither the capsule nor the tube should suffer when hot-swapping. The EF12 is good for several thousand turn-on/turn-off cycles; you shouldn't really worry about that.
