There is no "B" series in either of the Triad catalogs I have ('69/'70 and '79/'80).  It may be an earlier design or a customer's part number.  Any idea if it is audio, power, etc?

Off the top of my head that sounds like a custom Ampex part #.

I believe it is the one used as the output transformer in an Ampex 350. Pics here:

A customer has one and wants to know if it can be used as a REDD 47 output transformer.
