Hi, I just wanted to double check if I could put a 553 eq with a api-312 preamp, and also where is the best place to insert it in the circuit?

Pretty sure I could just patch in the 553 just before the output txf then connect its output to the 2503.
Need to fix up a couple of things, 4pdt switch needs attaching along with changing pots to 10k rather than 5k.
Wound my own 1H and 100mh inductors.
May change some caps for polystyrene?

I had a little play with these again the other day and they work fine again, I think originally I must have mixed up the inductors I wound as there was something quite if with them.
As space is at a premium in the other api preamp I'm going to temporarily put them in a separate case and have it so I can patch them both into any of my 12 api preamps
