G9 Bonus PSU -gotta love the junk drawer ****pics

I built the 'BONUS" psu out of spares in an old computer psu enclosure with a pair of $4 torrids from all electronics surplus -happy day :guinness: :guinness: :guinness:

Just a few worries about the amperage out for the 15v taps....

Turned out real nice -surplus iron, surplus Teflon wire, surplus Tektronix standoffs, surplus euro block term strips, surplus turrets from a ham shop, garrolite from McMaster Carr, some surplus caps, some rat shack caps, and it even terminates with the original (AMP... Molex computer connectors????) a wonderful cacophony of junk from everywhere!!!

why can't we have a toroïdsupplier in Europe that sells for such price???

These are surplus transformers from some equipment. I have no idea of what they're from, but I have found a box full of them (yes EXACTLY these) at the local scrapyard also - at 2?/kg. So they may just be available in Belgium also - if you know where to look.
