But Mullan sends pallet loads of 1/4" of 900 formula tape here. Very decent!

I recently found a lost board tape on cassette of the last gig I played with a band in 1988. Other than being just a board tape and having no ambient signals, I was actually very surprised at the audio quality.
I wouldn't choose to go back to using cassette as a medium for playback, but what i heard wasn't anywhere near as bad as I was expecting.

I used them for many years, and they made my days happier as a pre-teen when I could record my friends CD's that I couldn't afford to buy. I used to take them everywhere
