using 3 c12's in a Decca Tree setup to record orchestra

I never used C12 for a Decca Tree setup, but used a variety of other mics, if the room sound good it will sound good.

I pretty sure it will sound good with 3x C12 in Omni, or any other Condenser mics in omni.

I'm not so sure it will lead to a nice result. You need a true pressure omni for a Decca Tree, not a multi-diaphragm pressure gradient capsule pretending to be an omni. So much of the sound of both the instruments and the room come in off-axis. You will hear a lot of colouration in the recording.
