Hi, I want to buy a output transformer for a tube project.

Carnhill CA-18-VTB2291 - Transformer: Audio Output (9600R:600R Ungapped, Narrow Board Version

or

Edcor WSM/XSM 15k/600R
or similiar, must fit a 1HU case.

I have seen this before but these are 600/15k. I could use them in reverse, but I am not sure If this works flawless that way. Any expierence?

To be honest no, never done that, I'm quite a novice when I look around here.
My guess is, it would, but that is really just a guess.

I was just triggered by the numbers, thinking I saw these somewhere in the blackmarket.

Thanks for your feedback. I thought there was a reason why Edcor sells 15k:600R and 600R:15k types. I will give it a try...👍

i could offer these ADC
just they don‘t fit 1 HE , they‘re 5cm high if mounted vertically .
may i ask what tube project you‘re building . need a project for these transformers .

I am building three ST70 in 1HU cases. It is a mic pre amp based on the Gates SA70. I will puplish the PCBs soon.
Your transformer could work for this project. I guess wired as 2:1 this transformer would be a good match for the Hamptone Tube Pre, too.
