This might be the worst I have ever seen given the "high profile" of the event.

Apparently these folks sing as well as they think. But that "freeeeeeeeeeee" really started to get 'em going - or maybe they thought if they applauded she'd STFU.

I had just told my wife when we watched the CPAC version, "It' reminds me of Rosanne's, but at least she knew how shitty she was." 

Hahahahahah!  It sounds like some one had there hands on the pitch wheel of an ultra harmonized playing back her voice in here ear piece. 

I think I’ve seen her sing before and she was a lot better than that.

That made the rounds back in the day. President Bush even commented on it. But that said, was anyone expecting her to do anything approaching a real, or good performance? I wasn't.

Man, as bad as these people have looked lately (Cancun, etc...) you would have thought they would have found a proper singer. I mean, I honestly know a half a dozen women singers who would have crushed this. None of them would have worked for the GOP, but they're capable.

Just gobsmacked.

And as an FYI, the keys she sang in were F, F#, and G, with dozens of microtonal notes randomly sprinkled in.
