sheesh...

so I finally have a process for matching up these cells

BUT

im going through a TON of them without even a close match!!!

I checked a few from some UA T4b modules... the typical ranged around 450-500ms decay time...

all of the ones im going through are averaging 100-120ms decay time...

this really sucks...

no wonder they cost so much to make.. im only getting like 1 out of 30 as a close match

Wow,

That's a low hit rate :?

What vintage are the UA modules, and how many of the UA variants have you tried?

Do you think this is the sort of margin they got originally from a batch of cells, or have you got a particularly "fast" batch? I wonder how much this average varies. Also, I wonder if "advances" in component QC weedle out these "slow" cells at the factory where the cells are actually made- the reasoning being that these cells with a longer decay time are just too sluggish for industrial measurement/control purposes. And all the slower ones you want get put in the dumpster

Might be worth finding out?

my fault...

I had something set to the wrong setting :) as in I was using the neg edge of a pulse instead of the pos
