Hey Guys,

I?m building another Green and am using all 1% 1/4W Resistors this time,
most of the resistors have come within that 1% variance except my 10K?s
which measure in at between 9.7 and 9.6K, from a batch of 20 resistors. Is
it still safe to use these in the Green, even though it is less than a 1%
Variance from 10K? How specific does one need to get?

Thanks

Matt

Are you sure your DMM is accurate to that tolerance in that range?

(other than that, you probably won't need absolute accuracy - but relative accuracy. So if they don't differ too much from each other, it shouldn't be a problem anyway)

Hah hah!

I see what you mean ;-)

What I meant was that of the 20 resistors I tested some were 9.6 and others
were 9.7K, but none were 10K. I see how funny my previous post looks now and
no my DMM is not that accurate ;-)

I assume as long as say I used 10 9.7K?s in place of 10K I should be fine?

Cheers

Matt
