Hello,
we had a psu fault recently.
Since our original manuals do NOT have the detailed schematics of the board it's not possible to read the value of the resistor that is placed between the right bridge rectifier and the big cap on his right side. Everything else will easily be exchanged (bridge rectifiers will be upgraded)...
Can an owner of a Max or Project Topaz in working condition help us out?
(It's just to use a screwdriver for 5 minutes or take a look if you have the schematics...nothing has to be disassembled really..)

Any help on this would greatly be appreciated! :thumb: :guinness:

Kind regards

Martin

PS: The silkscreen on the pcb says "OEM1 PSU PCB P13003/05 ISS. A".

A very kind member of the yahoo topaz group had a look at the pcb.

The silkscreening says "LK1"

...and the part itself, looking like a carbon resistor

> is a beige colour with
> one black band in the centre.

what kind of color code is this???

(call me blind and dump, but at the moment i don't know what kind of component that one is...)

Again any help appreciated.

First answer gets a big :guinness: :green: :thumb:

kind regards

Martin
