I was googling and ran into this site.

I see they have 0.006 mm aluminized mylar.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for.
Not sure of prices.

Just a possible heads up for the DIY capusle makers.
 
yeah this goodfellow site was recomended to me for ribbon material for ribbon mics....the stuff is quite expensive with minumum order requirements.... might need a group buy to make it feasable...
I found an acceptable compromise with my cigarette foil
beleive me it works great for ribbon mics..(sound clips coming soon).
i would have to also assume there may be less expensive options for you...
at least i hope so.... :grin:

Goodfellow is quite expensive, from when I looked. Be careful that you get one coated side only, and that the one you get is wide enough. The 27mm wide film is not wide enough even to tension on a small diaphragm mic capsule.
