Does anyone know if this is a decent unit? I found one amongst my junk and it seems to test OK. It's got an asymmetrically tapped primary (250, 50, 600 ohms) and a 60k CT secondary. Max power level is 0dBm, 60-15000Hz. I was thinking about trying it out as an input on NYDave's one bottle pre. Any help appreciated--I'm still getting up to speed on audio transformers.

Yes, try it... I have a very small triad alsod, named JAF-1, rated with the same specs, and I do like it in a RCA BC2B mic pre input. Not lots lof low frequencies, but good sound overall, specially if you push it hard, with hot condenser mics
