I have a chasis that is all separate parts that you put together.
I tested to see if the chasis is electrically continuous. It is NOT. One section isn't really connected to the other panels. This is probably because I painted the pieces separately.
I was wonder if grounding the shielding wire to a side of the chasis that isn't electrically continuous with the "earthed" side (by earthed I mean the earth connected to the 3 prong plug) is okay to do, or should they all be continously connected through the chasis.
BTW this is the LA2A project.
