Yes, his posts are very revealing. It's well worth to do a search with his name. On his not-online-anymore homepage he has some more info on summing, EQs and preamps, IIRC.

BTW, if someone has an idea about how to place the caps inside the feedback loop (he mentions this in the linked thread) without getting low-freq resonaces at different gain settings, I would be very interested. I asked about this a while back (www.groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=5934), but we did not end with a general solution that works well for very different gain settings.

very interesting, however when do we all start to agree on what is the "best" implementation of capacitors in a circuit? it seems that many different gurus and knowledgable people have differing opinions and facts backing them up which only leads to confusion. :?
