So I threw together a pre for those odd philbrick opamps. Phantom power and H pads before the input transformer. I used the API shcematics on the waltzingbear site and the 99v kit schematics on the jlmaudio site for a guide.

Not much to look at but it sounds good. Very quiet. I don't ever think I'll get the pretty face plates down. Someday....

Maybe some non polarized output caps...

There are no caps in the signal path. Those lytics are for the gain/feedback circuit. like the API pre.
