I just got some .006. I was thinking of relaming a V67/2001 transformer and using it in a CF circuit.

know I have a few cathode follower mics now!). Let me know how you get on with it.

I got your email - many thanks for that. I'll post the pictures when i get a few minutes to squash & upload them. Those surface mount caps lokk like trouble. I actually have a couple of NT3s that I haven't opened up yet - they might benefit from similar treatment. I'm straying off topic again here. The Rode looks to have quite a big transformer in there.
