hi!

what would be good measurements for the plate? also, are any other materials apart from steel worth considering? good ideas for 2nd hand/junkyard sourcing?

the transducers/pickups

an idea: NXT produces inflatable and cardboard speakers with a neodynium magnet exciter and a mini 10 watt amp. maybe this could be ripped off from one of their £5 inflatable budweiser speakers and used as a transducer?

other ideas for transducer? piezo? eMFI?

what about pickups? and gain?

peace

Heh. Those N*T folks might be good for something after all

Seriously, properly equalized that might not be a bad idea. Just make sure you discard the rest of the issue in an approved waste dump.

You've seen the tape-op article yes?
Lots of ideas there,
I also know the emt schematics are online.
