Hi Guys,

I'm needing some help trying to locate some Video IC's.
EL4101C (24-Pin QSOP package) made by Elantec Semiconductor, Inc.

I have uploaded the data sheet here: EL4101C Datasheet

I need to get at least 4, if not a few more. They are for a friend who really helped me get into electronics and I am trying to repay him for his kindness as he needs these to repair a screen he is working on.

Any idea where to find them, or does anyone have some they would be willing to part with for a fee? I know it might sound like an odd request, but thought I would try and someone might know these IC's or maybe an substitute?

Cheers

Matt

Are they still made? Can you get them as samples?

Hey Guys,

Thanks for your help. I fear that Elantec Semiconductor, Inc might be out of
business :-( there website is down and I?ve looked in all the usual places
for these IC?s, and found nothing.

From the datasheet it seems to have been manufactured back in 2001.

It is for an LCD screen that he is trying to get running.... Don?t you hate
obsolete or had to find parts :-(

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know... Buying a new screen is
not a viable option

Cheers

Matt

Depending on what it's doing in the circuit; if it's for simple input switching, you may be able to substitute it with a relay or two?

Maybe the Max454: http://pdfserv.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/MAX452-MAX455.pdf

Or maybe the LT6555, if it's used for RGB-muxing:
