did you mean this, there are good threads on this at diyaudioforums.

An AD797 as a regulator. Love it.

Here it is; (75 pages though, but it's a good informative read!)

There are also members there who sell PCB boards..

For something different, Rod Elliot has these two designs that are also very nice. I don't use any super regulators myself, I prefer something like these two if I do need regulation;

Shunt; (scroll down, the line amp is exellent too, btw  )

You could use a zener instead of the 12 kOhm resistor to get a specific voltage. I like at least 10 Volts on top of the zener voltage. Try running as much current through the zener as possible, that helps keeping the noise down.

Both designs benefit from additional LCR filtering

In one week I will be finished the layout for improved Jung regulators, and I have a little text to go along with it. This was all meant to be part of my improved SSL comp project, but I figured the P/S would be useful for other projects, and have not tightly integrated it into the SSL layout.

I already have the +ve regulator layed out, and just need to set up the negative reg.

Cheers,

Kris

This is something that I am really interested in as well. I would like to build a few high quality, over-spec. powersupplies and get rid of my cheap supplies, and also not have to worry about new supplies every time I build another box.

I can't see the sense in obsessing over having the correct transformers and components for these projects and then cheaping out on the power supply.
Could someone source me to the Jung article and maybe other worthy designs too..? I once tried to find the Jung regulator article but failed.. :?
You could also check my regulator pcb's

Will you sell these PCB's? Would love to have some around.

Hey,

I layed out some pcb's not so long ago but still aint got round to testing em yet - only 1/2 stuffed the + version so far...diy gloves hung up of late :(

I did post the initial layout in here but got no response so went over to diyaudio and got some feedback - peranders was one of the doods who gave some layout pointers...;)

Here's and overview of em: (top + bottom -)

I've layed out the I/O and ground pins on a standard 2.54mm grid so can just sit it on some stripboard for simple hookup...
