Well, here it is. My Melcor box. It's two MAP preamps w/1731's, and two Melcor GME-20's. Of course there are some JLM Audio products in there too.

The preamps have direct outs, duh. But I took the unbalanced output of the preamp to feed the unbalanced input of the EQ. Then I threw a 1:1 Jensen at the out of each EQ.

I'm going to take it to work tomorrow and play with it.

Big thanks to JLM Audio, j-ho audio, John Noll and nwsoundman.

For those interested.

And don't forget Par-Metal :thumb:.

Miko, how are securing the amp cards? On a past project I found it was easily to drill new holes through the EDAC connectors and then use nuts or risers underneath.

The way I secure cards like this is to use standoffs.

I thread it onto the output transformer screws then mounted the standoff to the case.

For cards like Quad Eights, that have bigger screws, the trick is to use longer screws and nylon screw sleeves.

Howdy Miko,

I've got a few GME-20's that I've been meaning to rack for ages.

Were you able to find the "US Components" multipin connectors, or did you juryrig those connections?
