Maybe a stupid question...

Has anybody an idea if it's possible to use a vintech power supply (the one that goes with the X73) with older vitage modules like the siemens V272 and W295?
The vintech seems to give 24V, the old siemens stuff seems to need 24V.
Is this reasoning to simple or should it work?
I have no further specs on the vintech PSU, nothing delivered with it....

Thanks a lot,

Bob

The Vintech PSU should work nicely.
I've had a whole bunch of different 24V DC PSU's on my vintage German modules - never had any issues. IIRC they all have a built-in additional power regulation of some sort.

thanks michael,

has anybody got more specs or info on the vintech psu?
I guess it's sending 24V and 48v to the preamp.
But i have no idea what the real voltage or amphère...

it's depend of how many moduls you have to power up for 2 moduls 1 A is just enaught. anyway you can build it by yourself, is very simple it doesnt need a regulated one, because german moduls got his own regulator on board.
Mik.
