Hi All
I have an old soundcraft spirit monitor console that I have modified into just a summing amp with eq. I am running from pro tools into the inserts as I have disabled the pres and line input.
As the inserts are unbalanced I am considering putting a 1:1 transformed to unbalance the signal from pro tools ( or in some cases outboard gear that is inserted ) going into the desk.
I am also hoping this may also serve as an extra bit of tone for the console as well.
Can anyone make any suggestions on what may be a good transformer to use for this situation?
Cost may be an issue also with 24 channels .
