SOLD.

Hello and thanks for looking. Years back I had obtained a Spieden SF12 stereo ribbon microphone. If you are not familiar, these are the original Royer sf12.

When I got it it had a blown ribbon, so I called Royer to have them refurbish it. They had advised me to do their upgrade that “brought it up to modern spec”. It was very affordable, considering I already needed to send it in for a new ribbon. Well anyway, to my surprise, upon receiving the mic back, they sent me the original ribbon motors and transformers. Essentially, they sent me back a complete sf12, with no case.

So here they’ve been sitting for years. I am pretty sure the motors are complete (one is missing a small screw), I just don’t have the drive to make them into a mic, as I already have an RCA77 that doesn’t get enough use laying around. So, I figured I would post them here. If anybody can turn these into something awesome, it’s one of you folks.

Got anything cool laying around to trade? If not I would accept $100 for the lot. Thanks again for looking.

Second motor. Again, a second transformer is included, just not pictured.
