100V Japan?

I know this is a very simple question, but Im looking to use a Japanese 100V synth with my 120V outlet. Does anyone have experience with this? Recommend a cheap part? I use digikey at work, but for personal small quantities they can kill you on the shipping.

Should I :

1.) Get an additional transformer to step down 120V to 100V.
or
2.) Replace the current transformer that steps 100V to 20V by a 120V to 20V

If you can find something that fits, replacing the existing transformer makes the most sense.

I will agree that if you can easily just fit a new PS tannie and everything works, I'd go that route also.

yeh id like to find a replacement i think. it is a yamaha cs-15d.
