1176 Fet Mathing

Hi,

I'm planning to build a 1176 compressor, and I read some threads that is need to match two fet transistors. So, my question is:

Is enough measure only the Vp and Idss ( attach schematic )

Or I need to measure at diferent Vgs values, how is described here:

You want to match the Vgs curves. Vgs controls the fet resistance which in turn determines the amount of attenuation / compression.
