+/- 15v 2A PSU for mixer

I am fixing up an Allen & Heath System 8 - see this thread: Allen & Heath System 8 Mk1/2 recap and mods

I want to build a new PSU for it, since the original one only delivers 1A maximum, and that seems a little too small.
The mixer draws about 1A in it's original state, but I will be changing out some TL072's for OPA2134's, so I guess I'll need somewhere between 1,5A and 2A.

Which way would you go - linear or SMPS?

I have been reading a lot in here on additional filtering for SMPS, but I must admit, that I lost track a bit. Any tips or hints would be much appreciated.

These days I'd look for an off the shelf, universal mains voltage switching supply with UL/CSA/CE agency approval.

I built one of these for my own mixer, which is a Danish produced mixer with all discrete opamps and using about 1.2-1,5 A. It's running very well now
