2 Green Pre Questions

Couple quick questions as I finish up my pair of green pres. Anyone have a recommendation for a power transformer for this project? I wanted to buy one of the "cheap" torroid trafos, but they are all sold out.

I was also wondering where in the layout I can grab some power for a power led.

Hi,

which psu design do you use ? Maybe you can use the +15V and a resistor for your led?

Usually a 2*15 V Transformer is ok. I prefer 2*18V for the extra margin but I need headsinks. I do run a 30VA transformer which is more than enough. But mine is limited to place it in a 1HE unit...
