Still having PSU doubts.
I'm having here nice 24V / 1A wallwarts here, got them for free, so I was wandering if I could do the following : 24 volt from one PSU powers a Telefunken module, a second PSU powers nother module , and for the Phantom, I use both PSU's in series ?

Possible , or a no go ?

Two 24V power supplies can be stacked like you say to give 48V, but the second power supply will be at 24V. This means whatever your second 24V supply is driving, its ground will presumably be at 24V? Is that what you mean? To get the 48V, you will need to get the second supply to sit 'on' the first supply, meaning that the second supply will give you +24 and +48 from which you wish to power your second module?

Andre,

If you combine the two (identical?) supplies, you're now looking at them like a single supply with twice the current capacity and two taps. Connect the negative of one supply to the positive of the other. This joint connection will serve as your +24V, while the unjoined positive connection becomes your +48V and the unjoined negative connection becomes ground. These same three points feed both telefunken units. Maybe add some local filter caps or RC filters for isolation if the modules don't have that built in already.

If you want to use one supply to power one pre and another supply to power the other pre I don't think it will work.

If you connect the supplies with one + to the other's - you'll have 0V 24V and 48V. The first pre will work ok. You can connect the ground to 0V the + to 24V and the phantom to 48V. If you want to power the other pre from the other supply you need to connect the ground to 24V and the + to 48V. When you connect phantom to 48V you'll have 24V difference between the ground on the output connector and phantom cause ground will be at the 24V potential.

Maybe you can power both pre's from one psu. Then you can use the second psu to provide the extra power for phantom.
