Is anyone in the (preferably) LA-area interested in getting my almost-working 33609 up, running, and calibrated? Naturally, this would be a paid job. I just can't seem to find the time right now, but I really need to get it working!

If anyone is interested, please respond to this post.

All the best,

Dan P.

Kind of defeats the notion of do it yourself, but then again I understand the time thing. However if you don't have time now, then put it down til later or make time to finish it, or sell it or trade it. just my 2 cents

Thanks for the post. I (almost) completely agree with you. It's just that I don't have the equipment to properly calibrate it, and I'm like 95% finished, but that last 5% is really difficult for me. I spent many many hours trying to trouble-shoot. I'm really burnt out with it but I know it has the potential to be a great compressor!

go on with it !
just finished mine after more than 4 years now.....
did some mods to have all switches elma (silly..)
calibrating was done in half an hour with daw and dmm.
..at first i thought the unit would nor compress, but then..it is just so gentle and can swallow alot of db !
just have a small issue left with one threshold setting, will have to check resistors here.
great compressor for sure !
good luck with yours !

what equipment do you need outside of what one normally needsm a scope, a tone generator and a DMM?
