Hello, someone knows if  there is a circuit to use a 500uA vu meter in a EMI TG compressor instead of 2.4mA one required
I have a couple of 500uA meters and I'd like to use it

All you need to do is add a suitable resistor in parallel with the meter known as a shunt resistor) such that 1.9mA of current  flows trough it when 0.5mA flows through the meter. To calculate the value of the resistor you really need to know the dc resistance of the meter.

Thank you, what's the formula to calculate the resistor?
Regards
You want 0.5mA through the meter and 1.9mA through the parallel resistor. You know the voltage across both resistors is the same. So use V =IxR to calculate the voltage V from the meter resistance and 0.5mA. The use R = V/I to calculate the parallel resistor from V and 1.9mA.

Cheers
